We have mad our way through the outlying areas. While some effects of the the incident are apparent, we can tell an uptick in the occurrences as we near the zero site. Radio is the only reliable communication inside the affected areas, and does not broadcast well out. Planning a runner system as we push past the plateau. Reports form forward operators indicate that Marble City is a good site for a FOB. Will set there and then send away teams into the zero site. I appreciate the trust placed in me to lead this mission. I will not let you down, and I will avenge my siblings.

It...it all came on so fast. We didn't know what to do. We ran. All there was to do was run. The highways and interstates all jammed up so most folks took the back roads. God, the folks on the bridges. Monsters came out of the mist, but they all seemed as confused as we were. Some folks had stuff with them, but most people just had the cloths on their backs. Most of us only made it to the city when the National Guard stopped us. Then it all went quiet.
