You’ve seen the news. You know why I’m calling. Some of you know this feeling you have in the pit of your stomach. It’s one you got familiar with almost a decade ago. It’s the feeling that pushed you into the streets and then into the fray. It’s the feeling that caused us to shed blood and lose people we love. It’s a feeling we’re afraid of. We have good reason to be afraid. So much was broken last time. Relationships, our hearts, our spirits. It’s a wound that can only be covered, never healed and always raw. But we can’t live in fear. We are going to have to bear these wounds if we want a better world. I wish there was a better way, and maybe at some point there was, but the UPRC has moved past that. It is our mission, our duty to put ourselves between the UPRC and all those people who will be hurt by this. It’s gonna hurt, but when, not if, when we come out the other side of this with a better world we can look at the wounds we bear with pride because we earned them doing the right thing.

What I do know is that this rise in activity from the Rest By The Water’s group has coincided with a number of stories that should, but are not getting traction on other networks. It’s no secret that the UPRC and Commander Evans in particular don’t have an open door policy with information. But why listen to me? I’m a traitor after all. Like all the representatives who have spoken out about this. Like the Johnnies. Seems like we are all the same breed of traitor. How convenient.

Returning to our top story tonight, the supposed unrest about the continued marshal law and the universal firmware update that is due to drop within the week. To me it seems like a bunch of hogwash. I mean, come on look at public opinion polls put out by competitors. These are the same mainstream media outlets I have regularly railed against, but they all show an overwhelmingly positive feeling toward these actions. If those spineless losers can see the truth and get with the program then Blessing Harris and the rest of WPR need to too. Look, am I happy with martial law? No, but this Rest By The Waters group forced the UPRC’s hand. Commander Evans is a war hero, a man who has shed blood to uphold peace, but Blessing Harris and WRP have the gall to call into question his motivations when we can see what is happening out there with our own two eyes. Honestly viewers I ask you who do you really think has some altier motive? The man doing everything he can to protect us and our families, or the people calling for us to welcome the words of extremists?

While we all may not agree on everything, we all fought hard to make this society what it is today, and these people, these terrorists don’t care about that sacrifice. Yes, I agree these are extreme measures, but we have never faced a threat like this. This isn’t a dispute about values, or freedom. This isn’t a populist movement. These are people who only want anarchy. They want to end the way of life WE ALL fought for. I know it is easy to get pulled in by their rhetoric, but these people don’t want a better world. With any luck, we should be able to get some solid field testing in soon. I know these seem scary. This is a huge leap forward, but we all know that this sector is getting more and more out of control. There are people out there that are jealous of, and want to tear down our way of life. These are the sorts of tools we need to maintain our way of life, and frankly, I don’t think any of rabble rousers that could stand up to this sort of tech.

I know what you’re thinking, “Well gee, that all sounds good but what if this thing start thinking for itself?” Rest assured that that is not possible. While the unit does have advanced problem solving skills and can work independently, it does not ‘think’ in the way you and I do. It does come with a program personality. This is to help it deal with future interactions once they are deployed for civilian peacekeeping. There is no way that this thing will become ‘alive’ like you and I am.

Ok, so Project Reforged is more than just a semi autonomous drone. It is a fully thinking, fully autonomous weapon capable of complex problem solving and directionless action. Simply put, it is the future of war as we know it. These will replace soldiers in suits, I have no doubt about it. No longer are we going to lose the lives of our brave troops in conflicts. They can also, in the future, be retrofitted for peacekeeping duties. They will be the tip of the spear that brings order to this system.
