Hello. First off, I would like to thank the press for coming today. I know they are familiar with me, but for those of you at home who do not, I am Adrian Mallick. Yes, that Adrian Mallick. The one you’ve heard about in the news. The one who’s head of the new Ki-Rin collective. Ten years ago, the city suffered the worst blow it had ever taken. Shortly before that, I took the worst one I had known. When my father was killed in his home by some random thugs, I didn’t think my life could be worse. The, almost a year later, I looked to the sky to see other planes seeping into our own. The same ones that hang in the sky now. While we made have made peace with that, opening embassies to the Feywild,the shadowfell, hell even the Nine Hells, that does not change the fear we felt that day. On the day my father died, and on the day our reality almost ended, I prayed to the gods as many did. We heard no answers. It is not that they had abandoned us, but were too afraid to act. Our gods were to afraid. We thought them protectors, but we know them now to be liabilities. You may have read about my work, Project Yellow King. How I am reaching too far, that I want the power of a god. I want to say that I do not want to be a god. I want to build a god. One who will protect us without fail. One who is loyal to us and not their own petty whims. One who can keep us from feeling as afraid as we all did ten years ago.

Hello. First off, I would like to thank the press for coming today. I am Jessie Cooper.These last few months have been a time of turmoil. As power transitioned in the city, we know many people have been scared. I am coming to you today to try an queel some of those fears As of today, I am the acting, interim, minister for the city.. Some of you may have voted for me, I know some of you did not. All of you know that while I have always fought to curb the power of the guilds, I was never a member of the Sands. As of this day, I am still not a member of that group. Luume was once a beacon on this plane of progress and technology, but long before the near cataclysmic events happened, this city had already began to fall by our own inaction. The people of Luume will no long be ruled by the power of those with means and resources. Nor will she be ruled at knife point. The people of Luume will no longer be ruled. They will be governed by officials they elect. Officials who will not simply be puppets for the guilds, or other power entities with a special interest. They will be governed not by the Sands, who did what was needed to free this city, but by their own will. We will make Luume a beacon of progress once more, not just of technology, but by the example of her people as well.

The mind games of a twisted god continue as the team fights through little shows that have been put on for them. As the threads are woven, will the team find the power to break free?
