Yes, I know you have concerns about Elijah, but I do find it disheartening that you think I trust him. The man is self serving, self interested, and always looking for his next rung to climb. I assure you, everything is going to plan. Phase one of the unmanned drone production is almost complete. We have utilized every available resource from the Harlan facility as well as co-opting production facilities near The Razor, sorry, I mean station 42307. It’s hard to not let the common vernacular infect your speech. As soon as we get phase 2 of production on line, these facilities can go back to normal. The core will never even notice the drop in resource production.

The subjects are showing odd behavior. Outside of the abhorrent behavior shown on the field site, these units are refusing to respond to orders and are somehow resisting shutdown sequences. Commander Evans has deemed them objects of interest, otherwise they would be decommissioned and parts at this moment. Unit A has been making odd noises. Whirs and clicks of internal mechanisms. They have a rhythmic quality to them. Almost speech-like. A briefing packet sent to us from The Sunsphere facility urged us to place them in containment together. They said this might lead to a breakthrough in the program.

So here’s the play Baron. The Commander is sending me out to Harlan to oversee the conversion of that facility into a production line. He’s basically shuttering the bauxite mining and gonna use the tunnels in the mountain to hide the assembly lines. If we have patience with this you get to have that army you’ve been itching to grab. Give me a few months to get a stockpile and let the Commander think I’m still a good soldier, and then you can swoop in. Ain’t no one gonna be able to stand up to you then.

Well I appreciate the open armed welcome Baron. We got to move fairly quickly. Commander Evans is already making some very big plays. He’s seizing and converting any UPRC ran facilities he can get a hold of the higher ups won’t notice. The Sunsphere was first, but he’s also co-opted Big Rock Candy Mountain. He figures if it’s places folks don’t care about the people in then ain’t nobody gonna come snooping when the status quo changes. That was step one though, getting logistics in order. It’s getting to be time to start rolling these things off the line en mass. After what went down at the Johnnies meeting he got the itch to bring the hammer down hard.
