cough cough I work in a sealed room, how did I get a cold? Speaking of colds, I think I may have cracked the overwrite process. I had to practically beg Baron to bring me some units to work with. Gad damn it, that’s where I bet. Anyways, I am close to a broad spectrum attack vector, but I keep telling him that all this doesn’t matter in the end. Like, sure we can overwrite the code of a mech, or at this rate, any other AI, but the pilot or whoever else is around, and activate the hard wired shut downs .I’m good, but I’m not good enough to hack a pilot.

I’m losing all sense of time. I asked to be moved to some place with a window, but I was told it wasn’t necessary for my work. He’s been having me analyze the same frequency range for days now. It’s some kind of low level carrier signal. It’s the ping AI devices send out to establish communication. He wants me to use it to overwrite command structures, but I can’t. That’s not how it works. All this signal is a ping, like radar. The AI is just looking for a return on the sig...but it’s open for that return and is you could bury some kind of executable in the return signal you can open a way in. See, I told him I needed an assistant. Sometimes you just have to talk it out.
