I think Ada is too obsessed with the self-made heroes, We Are All in the Gutter. What do you mean pot calling the kettle black? I’m not obsessed with them. Do I have a vested interested in SOME of their members? Yes, but don’t sit there and tell me you don’t as well. We both know that they have value, in one sense or another. Of course, I’m not going to stop their plan, but I feel they are thinking far too little of them. I know first hand what happens when you underestimate their ingenuity.

The gates are stormed as the team moves into the Ash to Ash facility. Meanwhile, some folks make decisions that will lead to far more trouble than planned.

So I just point it at them and it makes the change? I don’t have to be near them? Good good. Tonight we’re gonna do something we should have a long time ago. Ash to Ash has been like an animal stuck in the trap of our loyalty to the Sands. We all came from there, and I think we all hoped they would come around to our point of view. We can’t wait anymore. The world is ending around us. So we have to cut ourselves free from all the things holding us back. It will hurt us deeply, but the satisfaction of knowing the we can start our work in earnest will ease the pain.

Plots are uncovered as the team cases the crowd of the party. With backroom deals, surprise arrivals, and just a bit of blood, it’s a buffet of fun.

We found the tear yesterday. It lines up exactly across the planes with where we came in. The energy here is so different, though. It’s focused; like it has a want of its own. It’s a radical departure from how my reality ended. There it was simply a force of nature. In the same way an earthquake doesn’t target a building or a city, the energy had the same indifference toward us. Here, though, it almost feels like there is a malice behind it. Stanton says he can push back what’s coming once he gets what he needs. I don’t know what will come for us. We left before that happened. No more running from the void.

It’s fashion week y’all. The teams infiltrates a high society party to look for clues on the whereabouts of the missing wrestlers.

No, Stanton, they haven’t contacted me. I’m not happy you set me up as the middle man for you little lost and found mission. I don’t work for you, we work together and that is just until we solve this problem. Don't forget that. I need to get odd here, I have work to attend to. Yes, the deer people thing. What? Yes, yeah you can have them once they’ve served their purpose. Should be about a week. Once the trap is sprung, I don’t have any use for the bait. I assume you’ll be at the club tonight? As some members of the team try to forget, other go to great lengths to find something to fight for. Oh, and there is a wonderful family reunion.

They have the rock and should deliver it soon. It took them long enough, frankly, after the highway of bread crumbs I left. The rock knows the plan and will put him on the path. Stanton is full of himself, but he’s still scary smart. If we hold his hand on this too much, he'll get suspicious. What are we gonna do about the other ones? They’re on their back foot now, but we both know that seems to be where they do their best work. Maybe they have too much on their plate. Too many mouths to feed, but we need to take some sort of precaution because I think we underestimated them... I know we did.

In this week of emotional heart to hearts, many deeply-held secrets are revealed and relationships are put to the test.

When I was arrested, I lost something very important to me. For the longest time, I thought the city guard had it and that it was rotting away somewhere in an evidence locker. Now, I come to find out that you three stole it from me. I don’t care where it is, now. All I care about is getting it back. You three will retrieve it for me. I want this done quietly and, above all, quickly. I am not the kind of man you want to delay or disappoint because, well, two of you have very interesting natural abilities, and I’ve never experimented on an elf before.

The team begins to recover from their time in the temple. Things are, to say the least, tense. Some go to find council while others look for stimulating conversation.
